I was going to do this properly; consider the theme and then take photos especially for the occasion. But today’s theme “Red” suddenly took on a whole new meaning when I suddenly spotted a bright red leg – that should have been white! – on one of the horses in the field this afternoon…
Admittedly, I could have taken quite a lot of pictures on the theme at that point, but I was kind of busy stemming bloodflow and chasing down a vet… All ended well, I might add – the horse had a bad cut in a hind leg but is now stitched up and doing well.
So, my “Red” contribution won’t be from today – and therefore rather macabre – but will be of something that fits much more nicely with this season. Helena said that it didn’t have to have to do with Christmas but right now, to my mind, season’s greetings seem like a very nice idea indeed! Nice, cosy images that speak of hope and well-wishing for the future… So I opted to give you Christmas greetings galore: my personal Christmas cards from the last three years – all with a classic focus on red!
Happy holidays to all of you!
